The Reunion Committee of the 47th Infantry Regiment is pleased to announce that Russell Vibberts has been appointed as the new chairman. Due to some family health situations, the previous Chairman, John Gross has had to resign, but will continue to help as time and his circumstances permits. John has given his complete support and encouragement to Russ, and has expressed confidence that our expectations of another great Reunion will be held. Although the exact dates for the 2012 Reunion have not been set, Russ has indicated that plans are being made and volunteers are being trained to make 2012 even bigger and better than before! All veterans of the 47th Infantry Regiment are encouraged to help find other brothers, to volunteer for some of the many tasks to be completed during the Reunion, and to make plans to attend!
